The Montane Oryx is an unusual garment in that it doesnt fit into an obvious category. You couldn't simply call it a fleece jacket because it much more stretchy. It's also not the sort of product you would buy if you needed to fend off the cold.
But what it does excel at it is providing a remarkably comfortable jacket that is tempting to wearr every day no matter what you are doing.
The Montane Oryx is a close fit but so stretchy that this never means that it is restrictive of your movements. The fabric is soft so it is capable of being worn next to skin but it seems to work best over a thin base layer.
Two of a our staff own Oryx's and regularly use them as a regular daily top. For some reason it just ends up being a nice jacket to wear for just about anything.
