Big Agnes SeedHouse tents are for gram counters who like to swill their adventure in big gulps but still want a little room to read at night.

Big Agnes Seedhouse Design Features

• DAC Featherlite NSL pole system featuring eco-friendly anodizing. DAC poles are super light and strong with press fit connectors, and lightweight hubs.
• All DAC poles made from TH72M aluminum: the latest technology in lightweight tent poles featuring improved durability.
• Fly is lightweight silicone treated nylon rip-stop with a waterproof polyurethane coating.
• Floor is lightweight silicone treated nylon rip-stop with a 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating.
• Seedhouse tent body is lightweight nylon and polyester mesh. Mesh body offers excellent ventilation.
• Single hub/pole system makes set up easy.
• Plastic clips attach the tent body to the pole frame for quick and easy set-up. Ridge pole runs through fabric loops along the ridge line of the tent body.
• D shaped door with mesh pocket above.
• Storm flap over vestibule zipper.
• Reflective guyline and reflective webbing on tent corners for nighttime visibility.
• All seams are taped.
• Superlight, X-peg stakes included.

What we think of The Big Agnes Seedhouse Tent

We came across the Big Agnes Seedhouse tent from the US when looking for a really light two man dual skin tent for use on the KIMM. We wanted a tent with a good amount of room as one of us is quite tall and large. The Terra Nova Laserlight is a traditional choice for the KIMM but we wanted something larger and more stable.

Having obtained a Big Agnes Seedhouse we used it on the KIMM and it lived up to all our expectations. In the 60MPH gusts it was the most stable tent around. The weather conditions were horrendous and we had to cook our meal inside the tent with the vestibule closed (highly dangerous but unavoidable). The space was amazing and very comfortable for a 2 person tent weighing under 1.5KG.

When packed the tent was compact enough for us to easily fit in our 22 litre ultralight KIMMLITE packs.

We liked the Seedhouse so much that we agreed with Big Agnes to sell them in the UK.
